Sportswear revived the famous “Galaxy” theme on the Air Foamposite One for this new edition released in celebration of the 2018 All-Star festivities. Although new to retail in 2018, the “Big Bang” Foamposite is actually similar to the original sample colorway of the Galaxy Foams from 2012 once seen on the feet of then Sportswear director Gentry Humphrey. Now dubbed the Alternate Galaxy Air Foamposite, these succeeded in bringing back some of the hype for Foams that have diminished through the years since the original Galaxy colorway was a phenomenon. The Galaxy revival is proof that history can repeat itself.
